Early Action – Student has no obligation to the University to enroll after they get accepted. Early Decision – If accepted , the student must enroll in the college or University that they applied to. Rolling admissions – Some institutions review and complete applications as they arrive rather than according to a set deadline. Waitlist – Student is put on a wait list when an admissions representation decided to offer a student the opportunity to enroll in the college only if there is space available in the incoming class. Deferred Admissions – A student has not been admitted early but will remain in the application pool for reconsideration during the review of applications for regular decisions.
