Your child should be able to recognize and tell you about a penny, circle, square, triangle, and rectangle. Your child should be able to recognize and write the numbers 1-20. Ask them to make you a repeating pattern.

Upcoming Dates to Remember
Don’t forget about your child’s Reading Log. I hope you are reading and writing down the books your child has read or books you have read to them! If your child wears flip flops, they must have an extra pair of shoes. We cannot fix flip flops!
This month’s Character Trait is Truthfulness. Please help your child memorize this poem.
Truthfulness from Character First I will always tell the truth, even when it’s hard to do. I’ll encourage those around me so that they’ll be truthful too. I’ll admit when I am wrong; I will not exaggerate. And though I may be tempted, I’ll never steal or cheat. Commitments are important steps to guard us from disaster. And just to show we know them well, Let’s say them even faster.

They can be cut apart and used as flash cards at home. Some of these are review. REMEMBER…some High Frequency words you cannot sound out. They have to be memorized!
