SEWING CLASSES WITH ROBBIE Please come with your own sewing machine if you have one. If you're still in the market for purchasing a machine, you can try out one of our sewing machines at no additional cost. All classes are small in size, 4 max, so lots of personalized attention is given. Supply lists will be provided when registering. Please sign up early to assure your space in class. Casual Sewing - 1 to 4 am ......................................................................................................... Free or Fee 3 hours 10/11, 11/8 and 12/13 Need some help on a current project or want to start up something new? This is an open forum for all your garment needs. Sew at your own pace, while I share some basic techniques to help in all your sewing endeavors. Bring in your machine and supplies. Make some sewing connections! If you’re looking for a sewing lesson, there will be a $35.00 instruction fee. Embroidery Club - 10 to 12 pm ........................................................................................................ $10.00* 2 hours, hands-on 2nd Tuesday Each Month Choose a simple, holiday embroidery design. Embroider in class or at home. We’ll place that embroidery into a pot holder, placemat or table runner. This is a wonderful opportunity to get your feet wet with your machine and a bit of quilting! Please have your fabric, batting and backing with your, as well as your machine and matching thread for class. *Free for machines purchased from Kingdom. Serger Club - 10 to 12 pm ............................................................................................ $10.00* 2 hours, hands-on 4th Tuesday Each Month This Modern Silhouette Vest from Indygo Junction is flattering on any body type, and so easy to wear. With simple sewing, exposed seams and no facings, this is the perfect project to make with your serger. *Free for machines purchased from Kingdom. Pattern required. Creepy Crafting - 1 to 3 pm ............................................................................................................... $40.00 2 hours Tuesday October 4 We will be making a cape from scratch. This is a simple idea that can be embellished with embroidery, crystals, thread painting and more. Maybe a hood? Bring a yard or more of your fabric of choice, and matching thread. Beginning Sewing Class - 9 to 11 am............................................................................................... $30.00 2 hours, hands-on Saturdays, October 1 and/or November 5 We’re making PJ’s just in time for the holidays! This is one of my personal favorite things to make. Get some flannel themed fabric for yourself or a lucky friend and make your first garment. PJ’s are so forgiving, so easy and most of all they fit just about everybody. Make sure to get a little extra fabric, because flannel/cotton always shrinks in the laundry. Please have your fabric prewashed and ironed prior to class.

With so many wonderful themed cotton fabrics, let your imagination run. We will be drafting a simple half apron during class. You could even use some of the techniques in the class to make a wrap around skirt. (I do love a great garment.)

A modern slouch bag with a bunch of roomy interior pockets, a magnetic closure to secure your things, cell phone pocket, lots of hardware and tons of style! Measures 14” x 10” x 5”. Little Something Jacket - 3 to 5 pm ....................................................................$45.00 2 hours, hands-on Saturdays - October 29, November 26 or December 10 Give your wardrobe an instant update with this comfortable and fashionable jacket. The front edge of this jacket is self-faced making construction quick and easy. We will provide 3 yard cuts of rayon batik fabric for this class. Pattern & fabric - $40 (20% discount).

Have a hard time coming up with stocking stuffers, gifts for unexpected guests, Secret Santa at work, gift exchange at club meetings? These fun and quick items will cover all the bases: wine cozy, stockings, table runners or placemats and quilted coaster. Add embroidery if you have an embroidery machine or use our machine to add a small embroidery for an additional fee of $5.00.
Mini Iron Caddy - 12 to 2 pm .................................................................................................$45.00 2 hours, hands-on Saturday - November 26 Make an ironing caddy for your mini iron. This is a great little iron to take with you to class, no need to wait at the ironing board. Not only can you put a warm iron inside, but it also doubles as a small ironing mat!
