~We are helping the Jewish Federation collect specific items for Holocaust Survivors for Good Deeds Day this year. Packages will be assembled and delivered by volunteers on Good Deeds Day, April 10. Between now and March, please bring salmon, tuna, canola and olive oil, whole wheat pasta and crackers, 100% fruit juice, oatmeal, cream of wheat, $10 Giant gift cards, and batteries to the KMS lobby and place them in the marked bins.

Starting on March 5: Sharon Freundel will teach a class on Shir Shel Yom one hour before Mincha on Shabbat for 5 weeks (March 5, 12, 19 and April 2, 9).

March 5: 8:30 pm, A Malava Malkah event featuring Erica Brown. "Owning Orthodoxy: How Spiritual Memoirs of Leaving Faith Help Us Re-Commit Ourselves." This interactive study session will examine a plethora of spiritual memoirs of ex-Orthodox Jews and a sociological study of this phenomenon in an attempt to understand the trend, if and how it impacts Modern Orthodoxy and how it can help us be self-reflective about our own religious journeys.

Opportunities to Get Involved and Help ~The KMS Tzedaka Fund helps people in need in the greater Kemp Mill Community. Donations to the Tzedaka Fund would help us meet these requests.
