Dribbling – Shadow Dribbling No Grid Needed • • • •

Have players dribble in open space. Have them pair up with the closest person. Have one person be their partners “Shadow”. The goal is for the “Shadow” to stay with their person. Develop to have the person lose their “Shadow”

Possible Coaching Points

  

Encourage the players to dribble to open space. The “Shadow” will need to have their head up to stay with the dribbler. Use concepts like “Fast Like A Cheetah” or “Slow like a Turtle”

Guided Question – I Wonder if it is Easier For a Shadow To Keep Up if You Go Slow Like a Turtle?
