Tournament Director has the final ruling on all decisions. Please make sure that the Tournament Director has the best phone number to reach you by before you leave the field. Teams will be contacted, as needed, for placement on Sunday.
Reporting game results •

Within 15 minutes of the completion of each game, the winning team must report the game result to the tournament director via text message only to 971-8323814. No phone calls or voice mails for game results, please. o In the event of a tie, the home team must report the score. Include all relevant information: division, score, etc. Example of a good report: “Senior division: Gladstone defeats Hillsboro 9-4”. Innings pitched per player are not required to be posted, but scorebooks may be inspected if there are reported issues with pitcher inning limits (details below).

Facility Rules: Please convey these rules onto your families so they can convey them also to their guests joining them at the fields. #1.
No parking on the grass at any of the facilities. The facilities are on school property and the police will give out citations. No pets at facilities, please keep them at home. No alcohol or tobacco products will be permitted. No sunflower seeds are permitted at the Snyder facility as it has a turf field.

Tournament Director or any other Sherwood Board member has the authority to ask anyone who disregards these rules to leave the premises. Rules for all divisions: •

Home team will be determined by a coin toss, with the team residing closest to Sherwood making the call. This will be done 15 minutes prior to the start of the game. Due to time constraints no infield will be taken prior to the game starting. Home team will keep the official book unless designated differently by tournament director. Winning team will report the final score to the tournament director or concession stand. Winning team will report the innings pitched by both teams including: name, number, and number of innings pitched. The 10 run-rule is in effect, this rule includes the championship. After 4 innings for Midget and Junior. After 5 innings for Senior. Teams will be seeded based on their record in pool play. In the event of a tie: 1. Winner will be decided by head to head play. 2. Fewest runs allowed. 3. Coin Toss. Time limit for the Championship games does not apply, but the game may be called for darkness and safety reasons. At this time the team leading at the end of the previous inning is the winner. In addition, the Tournament Director will enforce a “no slow play” rule at his discretion if a team is purposely slowing play down to take advantage of the time limit.

All games will be 5 innings. No new inning will start after 1 hour and 45 minutes. There will be a hard stop at 2 hours. In the event that an inning was not completed the score at the end of the previous inning will be the final score. If a game ends in a tie, additional innings may be played until the hard stop to obtain a winner. If the game is still tied at the hard stop the score at the end of the last complete inning will determine the winner. A pitcher may not pitch more than 3 innings per game and no more than 10 innings for the tournament.

All games will be 6 innings. No new inning will start after 1 hour and 45 minutes. There will be a hard stop at 2 hours. In the event that an inning was not completed the score at the end of the previous inning will be the final score. If a game ends in a tie, additional innings may be played until the hard stop to obtain a winner. If the game is still tied at the hard stop the score at the end of the last complete inning will determine the winner. A pitcher may not pitch more than 4 innings per game and no more than 12 innings for the tournament.

All games will be 7 innings. No new inning will start after 1 hour and 50 minutes. There will be a hard stop at 2 hours. In the event that an inning was not completed the score at the end of the previous inning will be the final score. If a game ends in a tie, additional innings may be played until the hard stop to obtain a winner. If the game is still tied at the hard stop the score at the end of the last complete inning will determine the winner. A pitcher may not pitch more than 5 innings per game and no more than 15 innings for the tournament.
