Sherwood Federal Tournament June 4-5 The Sherwood Federal Tournament is actually three tournaments run concurrently during June 4 and 5, 2016. One tournament each for the Senior Federal, Junior Federal, and Midget Federal divisions. Team trophies will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place teams. Also, individual player medals will be awarded for the first and second place teams. Each tournament uses a pool-play format for seeding into championship and/or consolation games. Midget $350 All games will be 5 innings. No new inning will start after 1 hour and 45 minutes. There will be a hard stop at 2 hours. In the event that an inning was not completed the score at the end of the previous inning will be the final score. If a game ends in a tie the score will revert to the last full inning completed with one team ahead. A pitcher may not pitch more than 3 innings per game and no more than 8 innings for the tournament. Junior $375 All games will be 6 innings. No new inning will start after 1 hour and 45 minutes. There will be a hard stop at 2 hours. In the event that an inning was not completed the score at the end of the previous inning will be the final score. If a game ends in a tie the score will revert to the last full inning completed with one team ahead. A pitcher may not pitch more than 4 innings per game and no more than 9 innings for the tournament.
Senior $400 All games will be 7 innings. No new inning will start after 2 hours. There will be a hard stop at 2 hours and 15 minutes. In the event that an inning was not completed the score at the end of the previous inning will be the final score. If a game ends in a tie the score will revert to the last full inning completed with one team ahead. A pitcher may not pitch more than 5 innings per game and no more than 10 innings for the tournament.
