S H I P P I N G I N F O R M ATION The following information has been compiled to assist clients and suppliers when shipping and retrieving items from the Design Exchange (DX). If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Meeting and Event Services at 416-216-2140. PLEASE NOTE : THE DESIGN EXCHANGE IS NOT LIABLE FOR MISPLACED GOODS. DX Ground Floor Lobby •
Taking objects up the Grand Staircase to the Trading Floor and/or by the passenger elevators is strictly prohibited.

The freight elevator is located on the far side of the lobby.
•
Loading through either of the Bay Street entrances is strictly prohibited.

LARGE VEHICLE ENTRY (via Loading Dock)
Clearance Height: 12 ft (sloped entrance ramp) - please confirm with the Dock Master. The loading dock is located in the Toronto-Dominion Centre shipping and receiving area off Wellington Street (Wellington is a one-way street traveling west). Please contact the Dock Master at (416) 869-1144 to schedule move-in/move-out times, vehicle restrictions, etc. Please note that the loading dock is a full city block away from the Ernst & Young freight elevator (approx. 950 m of passage underground) and that items CANNOT be taken through the concourse during peak hours on weekdays: 7:30 am - 9:00 am, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, and 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm 2.
SMALL VEHICLE ENTRY (via Parkade)
Clearance Height: Less than 6'6" The Ernst & Young Tower (access to DX) freight elevator can be accessed through the TorontoDominion Centre parking garage. There are entrances from both King and Wellington Streets. Remain on the P1 level and follow signs to the Ernst and Young Tower parking area. The freight entrance is labeled FREIGHT AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY. A maximum of 30 minutes is allowed or a parking charge will apply.

FREIGHT ELEVATOR
Contact the DX Meeting and Event Services Coordinator for freight elevator access. The freight elevator is the property of the Toronto-Dominion Centre. The elevator operates on a first come, first serve basis, weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Ensure that the elevator is available after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and anytime on weekends by contacting your DX Meeting and Event Services Coordinator. Please note that the TD Centre charge for reserving the elevator exclusively for your use is $50.00 per hour. Hourly minimums may apply. Dimensions Elevator door opening 4'5" x 8' Interior Cab 9'5" (deep) x 5'7" (wide) x 12' (high). Storage space at DX is very limited. All shipments for events, including A/V cases, must be approved by DX staff to ensure that storage space is available. Shipments sent in advance or left behind after the event will be subject to a storage fee. The Design Exchange assumes no responsibility for missing or damaged items.
