INTRODUCTION If one or both of your earphones are not working, this guide will show you how to safely disassemble your headphones so that you can check for a connectivity issue between your headphone wires and your ear-cups.

Step 1 — Checking to See if the Wire is Still Connected to the Ear-Cup
To begin, we must remove the ear-pad on the ear-cup. Do this by gently pulling at the edge of the pad where it meets the plastic of the ear-cup.
Separate the padding from the entire circumference of the ear pad.

Step 2
Now that the padding has been removed, you have exposed several 8mm screws shown in the image.
Remove these 8mm screws with a small phillips or flat head screw driver as pictured.

Now that the screws have been removed, using your hands separate the plate you have just unscrewed from the rest of headphone. In here you will be able to check the connectivity of your auxiliary cord to its port in an appropriate ear-cup.

Here you can see in the red markup box, the wire is not connected to anything inside the ear cup. This could be a reason that sound if not coming out of one, or both your earphones.
