Chapter 24 member, I would like to thank everyone that attended the tour at Wagner Hardwoods in Cayuta. A special thanks to Operations Manager Kevin Pudney and the tour guides. It was a very interesting tour of the facility. I’m sure most people attending were amazed by the kiln processes, number of kilns, and the space and time frame required to cure the different varieties of lumber. We are currently looking for members that would be interested in joining the Chapter 24 Board. If you would like more information on what is required of a Board Member please contact me at 607-481-0082 or email [email protected]. I will be glad to give you more information. This month we will be touring Eaton Corporation Components Division in Horseheads. Eaton is a diversified power management company and global technology leader in electrical systems for power quality, distribution and control; hydraulics components, etc. The Horseheads facility manufactures vacuum interrupters for use in power circuit protection.
