Dear Bethel Students and Families, SnowBlast is coming very soon and so it is time to prepare! SnowBlast is January 7-9, 2011 and it is for 8th thru 12th graders. There is registration form which is due by December 12th. Also, a $25 deposit is required to hold your spot. There is also a retreat release form from the camp that needs to be filled out before the student leaves for the retreat. No release form – no go! When forms and money are ready you can either mail it to the church, give it to Pastor Andrew or Bonnie Stutz. The total cost for the trip is $110 which includes lodging and meals while at Camp Forest Springs, along with a T-shirt. Students will need to bring extra money for two meals: Dinner during the drive to the camp, and late lunch for the ride home. Also, there is a café where you can get snacks and hot cocoa! There are plenty of activities at Camp Forest Springs that are free – ping pong, carpet ball, broom ball, skating and snow tubing. But, you can also rent skis and snowboards for a decent price. This retreat is truly going to be a blast - a lot of fun and laughs but most importantly this weekend is going to challenge you spiritually and inspire you to grow in Zeal for God. Our speaker is Pastor Andy Shedd from Edgewater Baptist Church in Chicago. He will be teaching from the letter of Titus and about the Zeal for God we must have. There are very limited scholarships available for those who need them. Also, there is a discount for multiple kids going that are in the same family. It is $110 for the first teen, $80 for the second, $55 for any other siblings. Friends are welcome to come and if they need the paper work or any other info have them contact Pastor Andrew.
