SOCCER PROSPECT CAMP CAMP DIRECTOR: RYAN LAKIN HEAD MEN’S SOCCER COACH CONTACT INFORMATION: 630-844-5268 | [email protected] Ryan Lakin became the head coach of the Aurora University men’s soccer program in May of 2014. In the two seasons Lakin has led the Spartans, AU has a 22-12-6 overall record and is 13-4-3 in the NACC. Prior to coming to AU, Lakin spent nine seasons as the Illinois Wesleyan University men’s soccer coach where he had a 67-75-16 overall record. Before IWU, Lakin was the men’s and women’s soccer coach at Milikin University from 1998 to 2002. There he was a three-time Coach of the Year in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin. After departing Millikin University, Lakin spent seven months coaching in the United Soccer League at the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. He then returned home to the Chicago area to begin coaching at Aurora University.

Lakin played collegiate soccer at Illinois State University where he earned Most Improved Player for the 1992 Redbirds team and was a 1993 team captain. He also was chosen to the Missouri Valley Conference all-league and all-tournament squads, and was named to the all-Midwest region team.

Skrip comes to AU after a four-year career at Lewis University. In his playing career, Skrip was a two-time captain in 2013 and 2014, and he was selected to the Great Lakes Valley Conference All-Academic Team in 2014.
