Sit down on your calves in a kneeling position with your back straight, yet relaxed. Place your palms together (with fingers pointing away from you) in front of your stomach, about an inch above your belly button. Align your hands as shown in the picture above, then move your hands outwards slowly, while keeping your thumbs connected. This is crucial, as it opens the space. You should end up with something that looks like a heart shape when you are looking down at your hands. Center on the Solar Plexus Chakra and all the areas it affects in your body. Quietly but clearly, chant the sound “RAM.” The A sounds like "ah” and the M sounds like “mng.” Keep relaxing even more, continuing to think of the chakra, its meaning, how it does or ought to affect your life and how you want it to balance. Continue doing this until you feel totally relaxed. You should feel as if the center of the body has been cleansed.
