April Monthly Technical Meeting (MTM) – Proudly sponsored by Port Harcourt section The MTM for April 2018 which was proudly sponsored by SPE Port Harcourt section had in attendance senior industry professionals, young professionals, academia and students. The topic which was on Closed-In-Wells Restoration – Producing The Cheapest Oil was well presented and moderated as participants questions showed they were pleased
MS Excel training for Naval Shipyard personnel

MS Excel training refresher course was held for Navy personnel at the Naval Shipyard Port Harcourt. This was done gratis as part of ways to explore potential new membership sign up opportunities Annual Young Professionals Symposium (YPS) The annual young professionals symposium which had over 150 YPs in attendance held as planned with diverse and seasoned resource persons who did justice to the team of the workshop which was; Thriving through the energy transition: the case for a multi-skilled young professional. Other highlights of the symposium was a presentation by a YP on Artificial Intelligence and break out sessions to deliberate on various topics ALPs & E4Me update: - NTR - NTR

The Young professionals had a networking and unwinding session at a welcome cocktail organized the evening prior the YP workshop with over 50 YPs in attendance. Senior board members were also in attendance to cheer the YPs and as well as give brief tips on growing and succeeding in the industry
