Annual Technical Symposium & Exhibition (ATSE)/ Diversity & Inclusiveness symposium



March & April Board meetings held as planned and were well attended by Board members, YPs and Observers.

ATSE 2018 & D&I symposium held in PHC at Hago Heights events centre, Odili rd. on the same day as part of the Section’s innovations on cost savings and events optimization. Both events were well attended by Senior industry professionals, Young Professionals, Academia, Students, etc. The panellists dissected the theme of the symposium during the panel session based on their individual experiences. Afterwards the exhibition which had about 15 exhibitors was then declared open. A communique was also generated from the ATSE event. ATSE Theme: Project Non-Technical risks-evolving strategies for managing NTR peculiarities in Nigeria

April MTM is proudly sponsored by SPE PHC Section. Planning and preparations are in progress. Topic: Closed-In-Wells Restoration – Producing The Cheapest Oil Annual Young Professionals Workshop (YPW) Preparations are in top gear for the annual YP workshop and it promises to be grand Theme: Thriving through the energy transition: the case for a multi-skilled young professional ALPs & E4Me update: - The section continues to conduct ALPs in Primary, Post primary and Tertiary institutions. A total of 61 ALPs have been conducted from Nov. 6th till date. - Energy4Me(E4Me) was also conducted for 5 Primary schools in rivers state in collaboration with UNIPORT with a total of 396 pupils in attendance - Students Chapters annual report submission: IMT Enugu, Madonna, ESUTH, UNICAL, UNIYO, UNN, ASU and BUEA Cameroun successfully submitted their annual reports to SPEI ahead of the April deadline
