FC LEGACY NEWS It’s More Than A Club, It’s a Legacy! Spring Kick-Off Parent Meeting
Practices begin February 26 for 2011 (U7) and older! Practice schedules are posted at www.fclegacy.org>>Club Info>>Spring 2018 Practice Schedule. Optional Fitness, Speed and Agility and Foundations/Foot Skills (Fridays/Sundays) will be added soon!
Join us on Tuesday, March 20, 6-7 pm for an informational meeting at Cooper 1 at Lake Country in the concession area. Coach Bruce Deaton will discuss coaching philosophy and player goals, and Shane Kennard, Referee Coordinator, will return with an engaging presentation about referees and the complex rules of the game.
High School Players We wish the high school girls the best as they play for their high schools this Spring, and congratulate them on a successful season! We now welcome the high school boys back for Spring. Congratulations to the following FC Legacy players, who have been with FC Legacy since its inception. They will be achieving their dream of college soccer!

CY Sports CY Sports outdoor complex is located north of the building (2180 N Fox Hollow Dr W, Nixa, MO 65714). Follow the gravel road past the building to reach the parking lot. For your players’ safety, CY Sports asks that you park in the lower parking lot.
Payment Policy Please note that the FC Legacy Financial Policy states that members must either pay in full, or be on an approved payment plan, by March 31. Fees for Heartland League and tournaments must be paid before the start of the League or tournament. Please contact Club Treasurer, Hilary Lindsey, to discuss payment options.
We are partnering again with GoEx for our fan wear tshirts. GoEx donates donates their proceeds to the Global Orphan Project, pays living wages to their employees, and uses ethically made materials in their production. We believe that FC Legacy can be more than a soccer club… We wear our BCFO and Convoy of Hope logos proudly, to help increase awareness for these local philanthropic organizations, and seek out opportunities to help make the world a better place, on and off the field.

Be cheerleaders.

Encourage their player(s) to build a relationship with the coach.
•
Address concerns with their child’s coach, yet never right after a game.
•
Do not address the referees.
•
Allow players to make mistakes.
•
Let it be the kids’ team.
•
Have players at practices and games BEFORE the scheduled start time.
•
Allow your player to determine if you are going to discuss their practices or games.
•
Encourage an honest effort, a positive attitude, and a focus on the team.
