Spring is one of the best times to climb in Arkansas. Many of you participate in the annual WAC Weekend-On-Ropes event at Camp Orr in the fall. Now get an opportunity to climb in the spring! Is your troop new to climbing or rappelling? No worries. Westark Area Council will be providing all the necessary gear for the weekend. If you or your units have personal harnesses, helmets, belay devices, and gloves, please bring them to registration Friday night for inspection. Outdoor activities will include multiple climbing and rappelling sites, tower program, and skilled initiative games. Indoor activities will include indoor tread wall, required Climb-On-Safely class for unit leaders planning to take their units climbing or rappelling, and a re-certification opportunity for current Westark climbing instructors. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING: 1. A copy of your current BSA ANNUAL HEALTH AND MEDICAL RECORD PART A, B, & C 2. A copy of the Westark PARENTAL CONSENT AND PARTICIPANT HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
