‘Celebrating Life and Learning Together’ 24th May 2016 Dear Applicant, Re: Post of Higher Level Teaching Assistant Thank you for your interest in the post of Higher Level Teaching Assistant at our school of St. Georges. The school, which opened in September 2006, provides a high quality, warm and inclusive environment for families mainly within the community of St. Georges. The school works with the partnerships of the community as well as the Anglican, Methodist and Baptist churches and is planning to join the Bath and Wells Multi-Academy Trust from July 1st 2016. We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and capable HLTA for this important role. The person appointed will be a passionate and caring individual who is driven to provide a supportive and nurturing relationship with the class in partnership with the class teacher. The current post holder is sadly leaving us to train as a teacher. She currently covers for the Year 3 class teacher one day a week while she carries out her role as Deputy Head, and supports as a teaching assistant during the rest of the week. The HLTA also covers Year 3, and other classes, as required.
