Senior Warden Report (Tommy “Poncho” Hughston) Projects completed, underway and/or planned: Repairs underway/planned: HVAC system in the Historic Sanctuary, estimate $10,000 (funds – Wendler Endowment); HVAC Wendler Hall, estimate $8,000 (funds Wendler Endowment); water heater, estimate $2,000 (funds O&M budget); water fountain, needs estimate; paint Parish Hall and Historic Sanctuary, awaiting bid(s); repair stained glass window in the Historic sanctuary, need cost. Roof repairs on the Historic Sanctuary are almost complete [now complete], project was funded by insurance proceeds, designated gifts in the Development Fund for roof repairs. Roof repairs are completed for the Hill House, project was funded by insurance proceeds Ongoing or upcoming initiatives: EOY projected budget deficit may be less than original projection Vestry issued and official Commendation and expression of gratitude to the Search Committee for their faithful service to the parish

New Business: Stewardship season – Fall 2017 Every Member Canvas – Late October budget Welcoming of our new Rector, Fr. David Read and his wife Jacqui – 3rd week of October Commissioned the Invite, Welcome Connect Ministry which is being led by the Howes Finance/Budget/Stewardship (Ann Shorter/Ron Tribo) See Financial Reports - Plate is down $25,000 - Expenses down $37,000 - Net income $3,000 EOY deficit below budget Rector’s Time None Action Item/Voting Review was performed Approved August minutes, Commissioned the Invite/Welcome/Connect ministry, decided to post the minutes on the bulletin board as well as ministry summaries, TH/RS will provide a tabulated list of projects completed-ongoing-pending, Fr. David Read starts 10/16 Around the Table: There are opportunities for members to attend a three-day Cursillo spiritual retreat. The first is on October 5-8 at Mustang Island Conference Center and the second is on November 2-5 at Camp Capers Around the Room: None Announcements: October 17th next meeting Closing Prayer: Tommy Mathews Adjourn: 8:22
