Welcome our newest vestry member Charlie Hammerich! When Tyler LaFerriere graduated in May 2017, he resigned from the vestry leaving a vacant position that needed to be filled. His term ends with elections at the annual meeting in January 2018, and the “passing of the baton” at the February 2018 vestry meeting. Charlie agreed to serve, the vestry voted in favor of his filling Tyler’s position, and his first vestry meeting will be August 8. Congratulations and welcome aboard, Charlie! CURRENT HAPPENINGS Men’s Breakfast – Meets Tuesdays at 6:30am at Zeppoz. All men and women are welcome. Morning Prayer– Meets Wednesdays at 8:30am followed by coffee and conversation. Lectionary study – Meets Thursdays at 7 pm in the Canterbury Room to read, mark, and inwardly digest the lectionary (scripture) readings for the following Sunday. LOOKING AHEAD

National Lentil Festival – Beth Hatter is looking for helpers for the St James booth on Friday, August 18, from 5-10pm. You don’t need to be there the entire time but will need to bring your own chair and water. You will there to greet people, invite them to our church and hand out our amazing swag!
