Year 2 Class News During Remembrance Week Year 2 visited the Memorial Gardens. We saw many poppy wreaths and a monument to remember those who have fought or died in war.

Family and Friends Assemblies Our family assemblies are listed below for this Autumn term. All assemblies will start at 9am. 27.11.15 Year Rec THIS FRIDAY 04.12.15 Year 2 11.12.15 Year 1 All parents/carers, friends and family members are invited to these assemblies which provide the children an opportunity to show what they have been learning about. Please come along!

More Year 2 Class News Last week was an+-bullying week. Year 2 had great fun a1emp+ng to place toothpaste back into the tube - using toothpicks! We learnt it is easy to call someone nasty names but very difficult to take it back.

Bishop’s visit Last Sunday, Bishop John Arnold said Mass in our Church. The Church was packed and the Bishop enjoyed a very warm welcome. He commented on the excep+onal behaviour of our pupils and the significant contribu+on our school made towards the Mass and the events of the day. Hannah and Callum, two of the altar servers at the Mass wore Processional Stoles which they used when they handled the Bishop’s mitre and crozier.

Mass There will be no Mass in school next week.

PPTA Lara Look Fabulous Fashion Show Tickets now available This PPTA event will be held in the social centre this Friday 27th November at 7.30pm. A full range of clothes, jewellery and accessories will be on show and available to buy. Why not come along, bring a friend and enjoy an evening of relaxed shopping. The cost is £3 per adult +cket and £1 for an under 18’s +cket. PPTA Raffle Prizes There will be a raffle at each of the Na+vity plays. Our PPTA are asking for dona+ons of raffle prizes. If you would like to donate a prize, please send it into school.

Recep(on Class Our Recep+on class are in need of equipment for their mud kitchen. We are looking for any kitchen utensils you no longer use. If you have any pots, pans, baking +ns, cutlery etc we could make good use of them. Lotto The winner last week was Simone Pa1erson. Congratula+ons to our winner. Christmas Holidays School Closes at 3.15pm on Friday 18th December and re-opens on Monday 4th January 2016.

Christmas Fair This will be held on SUNDAY , 6th December, in the Church grounds star(ng at 1pm (approx.). All the usual stalls will be there-try your luck on the bo1le and giB tombolas, buy a book at a bargain price or why not visit Father Christmas-he will be there . Please do your best to pop along for an hour or so. Birthdays This Week Happy Birthday to Freya (Y5), Leon (Y5), Charlo1e (Y2) Lewis (Y3) and Lauren (Y6). We hope they have a great day.
