Meet Our Team We work with everyone from the stars of tomorrow to the top athletes in their sports today. Our athletes come from the Indiana Ice, Indiana Fever, Butler University, Marian University, Indianapolis Indians, USA Diving, USA Track and Field, USA Gymnastics, Indiana Invaders, and many high schools and middle schools in the Indianapolis metropolitan area.

Todd W. Arnold, MD Dr. Arnold is a sports performance physician with more than a decade of experience caring for athletes of all levels from scholastic to professional. He is a team physician for Carmel High School, Indianapolis Indians, USA Synchronized Swimming, Carmel United Soccer Club and the Sports Performance Scientist for USA Track and Field. He has extensive training through the Titleist Performance Institute in the biomechanics of the golf swing, golf fitness and health care related to the golfer. He is also the co-creator of Prescription Golf & FitnessTM, a golf-specific workout program designed to improve a golfer’s swing.

Amy Corrigan, MD Dr. Corrigan is an avid runner and triathlete and has competed in two full Ironman races. She has a special interest in non-operative musculoskeletal medicine and management of medical conditions related to sports such as concussions, asthma, vocal cord dysfunction and running, triathlon and cycling related injuries. Dr. Corrigan is the team physician for Roncalli High School. She has provided medical coverage for USA Track and Field, Ironman World Championships, Worlds Masters Weightlifting, Butler University, Marian University, Monumental Marathon and other sporting events. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American College of Sports Medicine.

Joel M. Kary, MD Dr. Kary is a team physician for Butler University, Indiana Invaders Track Club, and consulting physician for USA Track and Field. As a former collegiate distance runner, he enjoys working with runners and endurance athletes. He is the medical director of the Carmel Marathon and Geist Half Marathon; a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine; American College of Sports Medicine; and American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine with a special focus in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound.

Patrick A. Kersey, MD A former all-state high school athlete, Dr. Kersey remains involved in sports by serving as the team physician for the Indianapolis Colts, Target/Chip Ganassi Racing in the Indy Racing League and medical director for USA Football. He’s a member of the Governor’s Council for Fitness and Sports, NFL Physician Society, Sports Concussion Management, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and American College of Sports Medicine. Dr. Kerseyis the co-creator of Prescription Golf & FitnessTM, a golf-specific workout program designed to improve a golfer’s swing.

Dan Ordaz, MD Dr. Ordaz is a sports medicine physician and the team physician for Heritage Christian Schools. He has provided medical coverage for Butler University and Marian University athletics, the Carmel Marathon and Geist Half-Marathon, B1G Ten basketball and football tournaments, and multiple USA Track and Field events. As an avid runner and endurance athlete, he has a special interest in evaluating and managing running injuries. Dr. Ordaz completed his residency with St. Vincent Family Medicine and fellowship with St. Vincent Sports Performance. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American College of Sports Medicine.

Timothy Von Fange, MD Dr. Von Fange is a team physician for Marian University and Scecina Memorial High School. As a former university medical director and head team physician, Dr. Von Fange believes the best health care for athletes comes from a powerful balance of sports medicine and orthopedics. His special interests include adolescent sports performance, advancements in sports nutrition, and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound.

Bree Simmons, MD Dr. Simmons is a team physician for Guerin Catholic High School. During her career she has covered the NCAA Women’s Basketball Final Four; the Indiana Fever of the WNBA; the Big Ten Basketball Tournament; and the US National Gymnastics Championships. She is a magna cum laude graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania and received her medical degree from the Penn State University College of Medicine.
