 Starting natural gas production from the Gas Treatment plant at Dosouq field 

23 August, 2014  The Ministry of Petroleum announced starting natural gas production from the Gas Treatment plant at Dosouq field, in Delta onshore area.  Dosouq gases field project is a model for a distinguished partnership between Suez Oil company (Suco) and the German company RWE. Dosouq gas development project’s two phases’ investments about $300 million.   Currently, preparation for the new phase of the project is underway, where 7 more wells are going to be tied with the Gas Treatment plant to be put on production map by the next year, raising the production to exceed 200 million cubic feet of gas per day.
