Sometimes you simply need extra help with your coursework. At any time, you can request no-cost tutoring through Student Services or the dean’s office. Pell Grants

These grants are determined by the Department of Education and are based on financial needs and circumstances. Generally, grants do not have to be repaid, but some restrictions may apply.

Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (SEOG)

All students awarded a Pell Grant can receive an SEOG as long as funds are available. The amount of the SEOG is determined by funding available to the college.

Subsidized Stafford Loans (Federal Student Loans)

Payments for these loans begin six months after you leave college. Interest is paid by the government throughout the program and for a six-month grace period after graduation.

Institutional Scholarships and Grants Scholarships,1 grants, and student loans are available to qualified students and could help make college more affordable. The following institutional awards are available to those who qualify.

Family Grant Award: 10% of tuition Qualification: Available to any student with an immediate family member who is a graduate or past or present enrollee of one of our colleges

Employer Tuition Reimbursement Matching Award: • Up to $5,000 for associate’s degrees or bachelor’s completion degrees • Up to $10,000 for bachelor’s degrees • Up to $3,000 for master’s degrees Qualification: Available to any student employed by an organization that reimburses its employees for education costs2

High School Scholarships Most of our scholarships for high school seniors are not based exclusively on GPA or ACT/SAT scores, making it easier to qualify. Instead, our high school scholarships are also based on the Otis-Lennon School Ability Test, allowing motivated students a chance at a scholarship.

Presidential Scholarship Award: Full-tuition scholarship for qualifying incoming students Qualification: Award based on a combination of the highest Otis-Lennon score and GPA or ACT/SAT scores
