1 STATEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE GREAT CONSOLIDATED POPULAR PARTY (GCPP) AT THE NORTHERN REGIONAL CONSULTATIVE FORUM ON THE LONGTERM NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN Delivered by Dr. Henry Lartey, Flagbearer of the GCPP Date: 17th September, 2015 Venue: Modern City Hotel, Tamale Chairman, Regional Minister, Sagnari-Naa, Director-General of NDPC, Ladies and gentlemen; I am so happy to be here as we plan to move Ghana forward. The consultations we are going to have here are going to help all of us to plan our manifestos. We have to hear how you want Ghana to be, how you want your life to be in the future. If we listen to what you want, we can plan properly and come out with manifestos that solve our problems. Over the years, we’ve have plans from the NDC, we’ve had plans from the NPP but the main thing is that we have to make sure that any government that comes to power will make sure the plans that the people want are what we will produce. As you are aware, we talk about domestication. Domestication is to help the farmers, to help the businesses and to pump the engine of growth and to make sure the Ghanaian is given the power to be able to move this country forward.
