As we get older, we often need a little more help and support but busy lives, work and commitments mean that families can’t always provide it.
How we can help We can introduce you to a telephone befriending service, for example. Signpost you to new hobbies, local events and social activities. Or even help with completing forms and setting up direct debits.

Our success stories
Mrs B aged 85
Mr T, early 80s
We arranged for mobility aids around the home and a referral to Careline. This Careline pendant was essential a week later in raising the alarm following a fall.
With our support Mr T emptied his home of unwanted items, got a grant for new household essentials and started to attend local activities. His mood and quality of life have really improved.
Mr T aged 86 A visit from the Staying Home Team resulted in a series of repairs, a new cooker and washing machine and the appointment of a regular cleaner.
