Suffolk 100 Connecting people who care with causes that matter We are looking for 100 leaders and opinion formers who care about the needs of Suffolk. Suffolk Community Foundation is dedicated to helping the people of Suffolk, working in partnership with others who are wanting to make a difference. We channel much needed money into local charities and community groups who are doing remarkable and often unpublicised work right across our county. The Suffolk 100 is for you if you would like to support grassroots causes in your community. The Suffolk 100 asks you to make an annual donation of £1,000 for a minimum of three years:
£500 to be used immediately to support local needs. £500 to be invested in the Foundation’s permanent endowment with the income to be used to make grants to Suffolk people forever.
Any GiftAid reclaimed (approx £250 for standard rate taxpayers) will be used to support Suffolk Community Foundation’s grant-making and development role, so the Foundation’s costs are supported by the taxman. All the money given by donors will go directly to good causes in Suffolk.
