Summer Happenings! The summer of 2016 was an action packed, energy filled, handclapping, excitement filled couple of months! Camp, Parties in the Park, Children’s Service planning and organizing/ cleaning were a few of the things taking place each week. 30+ kids went to camp with us this year and I am glad to announce that we had two young men decide to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior,
followed by baptism! I love being a part of watching kid’s lives change because of what God is teaching them. Parties in the Park went well with many people stepping forward to assist with that effort. Connections were made, people were prayed over and invited to come try Calvary. I am still waiting to see some of those faces come
through the door one Sunday… God is letting the church staff and members see some wonderful things occur in the lives of individuals inside our church. Most importantly, CBC families are bringing friends and family to church and I have met so many new people the last few months. Keep up the good work!
New D:6 service kickoff! This Sunday, August 28th, D:6 will begin a new children’s service every Sunday @ 9:45AM in the Youth Chapel. This is designed for 1st thru 5th grades and is going to be a fun new way for our D:6 kids to worship and learn more about Jesus!

Wednesday Night Activities Began August 24th AWANA is back for kids age 3-6th grade. Please join us from 5:30 7:30pm in the Worship Center. Detailed information and registration forms are available at the table outside the children’s wing. It is not too late to get your children involved. We are always happy to have parents volunteer in our AWANA rooms. Volunteer forms will be available outside of the Worship Center doors. If you would like to help regularly, Heather would love to speak with you about how you can help. Just call her at (575)522-7900 to chat! Dinner is available on Wednesday nights starting at 5:00pm for a small cost, if you would like to feed your family before AWANA and Equipping Hour begins!
CHILDCARE NIGHT DATES The dates and movies for fall Childcare Nights are: September 9th: UP October 21st: Wreck It Ralph November 18th: Ratatouille December 16th: The Grinch (1966) Sign up sheets are available in the children’s wing, 3 weeks before the events. Please call Heather or Elise at (575)522-7900 if you have any questions or would like to sign up. Space is limited, so sign up early!

Allergies & other special needs Please let us know about any special dietary, physical or developmental needs your children may have. The D:6 security check-in has a section where you can list any allergies or special needs your child might have. Please take a moment to speak to your child’s teacher about your child’s need as you drop her/him off in the classroom. This will ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding what is safe for your child to consume. This also helps the teacher know to ask for additional classroom help, if necessary. D:6 ministries will make every attempt to make sure your child’s physical and developmental learning needs are met. Please let Heather and/or Elise know if there is any extra assistance your child needs so we can adjust accordingly. Communication is key. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please let Heather or Elise know as soon as possible, so issues can be resolved in a timely manner. Thank you in advance for your assistance and understanding in this area!
