CoreNet Global UK teamed up with sponsor CBRE and media partner Property Week to stage a party attended by the crème de la crème of corporate real estate on 21 June. Executives from Alliance Boots, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, the BBC, Ericsson, General Electric, Goldman Sachs, PWC, the Royal Bank of Scotland, Royal Mail and Property Week’s parent, UBM, were among 500 guests who attended the Pavilion at the Tower of London. Incoming CoreNet Global UK president and British Airways property development manager Steve Probert gave the keynote address, and former England rugby international Austin Healey provided the entertainment. The event had a “Tower of London” theme complete with mock beefeaters and a jazz band — which included Colliers International director of EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) corporate solutions Tim Asson on clarinet.
