Children’s Ministries Available The following ministries are available during AM worship for those with children: Infant I Nursery (Ages Birth-17 mos.) – Room # 106 Toddlers Class (Ages 18-35 mos.) – Room # 104 PreK-K (Children I) (3-5 yrs) – Room # 103 Junior Church (Ages 6-10) – Room # 101 (*Children ages 6 – 10 meet in the sanctuary for our Worship Gathering and are dismissed early for Junior Church.)

Special Offering for Kentucky Ministries August 17, 2014 has been designated Kentucky Ministries Sunday. All Churches of God state wide are trying to raise funds through a special offering to support the Kentucky Ministries so they can continue the level of service they provide for all the Churches. Our state office in Winchester provides various services for the Churches some of which are listed here; Credential current and prospective ministers; Four Seasons projects; offer Christian experiences for families, children and youth; offer expertise to churches facing challenging issues; provides resumes' of prospective pastors to pulpit committees; and offer training for ministers and lay persons We will be taking up a love offering today at the end of the service to go to the Kentucky Ministries office.
Beth Moore Bible Study Beginning Wed. Evening Our “Woman to Woman – Just Us Girls!” Small Group will begin a Wednesday Evening Bible Study this Wed. evening. This will be Beth Moore’s study entitled “Stepping Up”. The study will run Aug. 20 – Nov. 12 from 7:00 – 8:15 p.m. each Wed. evening in room # 114. Christy Goble will be the facilitator. Study books are $12.95. All ladies are invited to be a part of this. A sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board if you are interested in attending and ordering a book. Please sign up today so study books may be ordered. See Christy for more info. Girls’ Purity Class To Begin – Wed., Aug. 27 Our annual Girls’ Purity Class for 7th & 8th grade girls will begin Wed., Aug. 27 at 7:00 p.m. Janie Martt will again be leading this class. If you have questions or need more info, see Janie.
Life Line Screening – Wed., Aug. 27 Life Line Screening will be using our facilities on Wed., Aug. 27. Information on the screenings which will be offered is included in today’s bulletin insert. You may register for the screenings by calling 1-800-3249458 or visiting www.helpinghandsforhealth.com. Not only will you receive $10 off any package priced $139 and up, but our church will ALSO receive a $10 donation for any member that signs up through this number and attends the screening! Our church has a couple of certificates available that are for Package 1 of the tests. Retail value is $139. We will receive bids for these until Wed., Aug. 20. Minimum bid is $75.00 each.
