Sunday 10th September, 2017 Our vision statement is based on Romans 12:2, ‘transforming communities one life at a time.’ If you have any questions, or need directions around our buildings, please chat to people wearing yellow lanyards or go to the Information Kiosk in the foyer. If you’d like someone to pray for you, please feel free to approach someone wearing a red lanyard or come to the front of the auditorium at the conclusion of services. Whether its information or prayer, we’re here to help you. If English is not your first language, a copy of the transcript of the morning service message is usually available at the Information Desk and is also on our website with the audio of the message from Monday morning.

Our services today: 9.00am

10.45am

Today Pastor Grant Harris takes us through ‘Legacy Sunday’ as he looks at the legacy of stories left to us through lyrics of songs that have lasted the test of time. We’ll listen, reflect, sing, and be challenged to think about the legacy that we will leave for the next generations.

6.30pm No evening service as everyone is invited to Holy Trinity Cathedral in Parnell for an Auckland-wide youth service.

The Pastor’s Pen 하나님의 은혜와 평강이 여러분께 있습니다. 愿神的恩惠和平安与你们众人同在 To each of you, grace and peace from God. I’m constantly blessed by people who call Windsor Park their home and are involved in incredibly effective ministries in wider NZ, or around the world. The recent evening we had discussing euthanasia was a prime example of that where theologians and medical experts all contributed to the discussion. We have an amazing community to draw on! One of our members (and former Elder), Dr John Tucker, is currently being nominated to become the Principal of Carey Baptist College; this is one of the three major leadership roles in the denomination we belong to, the Baptist Churches of NZ. John is a former lawyer, pastor, and currently a lecturer at Carey (& preacher at WP!) and he and his wife Lorraine and their 3 kids are all actively involved in the life of Windsor Park. The process for John’s appointment is that each member church of the denomination puts in a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ vote for the nominee. The Elders have discussed this and have placed a ‘yes’ vote on behalf of Windsor Park. We believe this will be a straightforward process. Please pray for John and we’ll keep you in the loop of progress.

예수님의 이름으로 축복합니다. 愿神祝福你 God bless you. Grant Harris (Senior Pastor)
