Camp Description
2014 Green Building Leadership Camp
Through a combination of group discussions, field trips in Shanghai and surrounding areas, lectures by key players in the Chinese green building industry, individual/team projects, and site visits students will develop a deeper understanding of green building in Shanghai, and will develop strategies to encourage user participation with green buildings. Pioneers from related fields, such as school administrators, the government, NGO, some enterprises, etc, will be gathered to share the latest news surrounding the Green Campus Project. This workshop will be a great chance for the domestic and foreign participants to communicate and share their experiences with each other about green campus development/construction in the different countries they represent. Throughout the workshop participants will work in teams to develop deliverables that are relevant to their own communities, and which can be used to inform future decisions at their home institutions.
