HOW TO RECORD MANUALLY OVER THE NETWORK FOR SYSTEMS

MODEL NUMBERS: QSD2316L, QSTD2408, QSTD2416, QSDT8DP
STEP 1: Turn on your computer and open Internet Explorer.
STEP 2: In the address bar, enter in the IP address of your DVR. (Note: If your WebCam viewer does not fit the internet explorer, right click above the “New Tab” button and disable the different toolbars that may be taking space)

STEP 3: Enter your login information (default user name is “admin” and the default password is “123456”) and click “OK”. (If this screen does not appear, see the “ActiveX Controls” guide)
STEP 4: On the channel display, click on the “Record” button.

STEP 5: Select which channels you want to record and click on the “…” button to select where you want to save the files.
STEP 6: Select the folder where you want to save the files to and click “OK”.

STEP 7: Move the cursor to “OK” and click.
STEP 8: The software will start recording and saving the files to the folder you set them to save to. If you want to stop the recording, click on the “Record” button.

STEP 9: Locate the destination folder of your back up.
STEP 10: The file you backed up will be in AVI format and can be viewed with any media viewing program that supports AVI. If you cannot view the file, look at the “K Lite Codec Pack Install” guide for further instructions.
