Tabletop Games Description There’s always room to play and have fun on a tabletop.
Materials Rectangular table or a clean, smooth floor Coins Masking tape or coloured tape Timer Ping-Pong balls Straws Place markers or miniature tabletop flags Paper rolls Card-grade paper Sheets of Bristol board or heavy paper Drawing tools such as markers, pencils, crayons, etc. Scissors Glue A variety of craft items such as construction paper, stickers, recycled magazines, etc. Various board games to use as examples Dice or spinners Paper
Preparation Prepare a tabletop courses for “Coin Hockey” and “Tag Team Ping-Pong Races.” If using specific titles for the “Read and Play” activity, provide the books to participants in advance of the program. Cover your program area with a drop cloth or paper if doing the craft.
