We are once again offering the opportunity for you to order your current Kindergarten - 6th grade child a wonderful review book for the summer. The workbooks help students review and retain skills learned in math, language, and reading. Order forms are available in the office or on the TCS website. Cost is $16.50 each. Order forms are due Wednesday, May 14.

If you would like to order your student’s school supplies for next school year, please visit the TCS website and order the supplies online. School supplies will be passed out at the “Back-to-School Meet & Greet” on August 7. Online orders are due by June 1.

Shelby Weatherly Shelby Faith Weatherly has been a student at Texoma Christian School for the past four years. While at TCS, she has participated in soccer, volleyball, softball, TAPPS Academic competitions and drama. Some of Shelby’s favorite memories of her days at TCS include: The 2013 Spring Break trip to London when Caroline Hanson, Ciara Hauber and her squeezed through people to make it to the front at Buckingham Palace to watch the changing of the guards. Breakfast in London was fabulous! Softball season her freshman year and the fun times in the van with seniors Mackenzie Kolb, Beth Knight, and Lauren Kirby. Going to State was something she will never forget! Soccer and reaching the State Final Four, and playing their hearts out in the rain! TAPPS trips and the fun “nature walks” with Marjorie Nguyen, Carter Haney, Liana Hou and Luke Maher and planting a “tree”. Shelby explained that TCS has encouraged her to try her best at whatever she does. She has been challenged academically and spiritually through rigorous courses and opportunities to lead. TCS has provided a foundation for her college experience. Shelby said, “My family has supported me throughout high school. They have encouraged me to grow spiritually and academically. From my freshman year when my sister, Sara, would stay up late and help me study, to my Mom and Dad graciously bringing me work when I forgot it - my family has helped me so much!” Following high school, Shelby plans to attend Dallas Baptist University and major in Biology with a minor in Spanish. She intends to become a Physician’s Assistant and possibly become a medical missionary later on. Shelby’s advice to future high school seniors is, “Enjoy every minute, and don’t stress over petty things. Glorify God in all that you do. Be conscious of your affect on underclassmen, and use your influence to positively impact them.”
