TARGO 3000 single-shaft shredder
TARGO 3000 The TARGO 3000 is a universal single-shaft shredder with diverse uses. The 3 m long shredder shaft rotates at 31 rpm and is equipped with 21 (optionally 42) screwed-on tearing and cutting tools. The unique direct drive of the shredder shaft ensures highest energy efficiency, paired with powerful shredding of many different materials. The intelligent smart drive enables the shredder shaft to fully automatically maintain its torque even in reversing operation. The counter comb is secured to protect against damage that may be caused by contamination. If the shredder shaft is blocked, the counter comb is able to deflect easily thanks to its hydraulic protection and protects the machine from possible damage. The cutting gap between the shaft and counter comb teeth can be adjusted to permit a constant shredding result. The maintenance-compatibility of the machine and complete folding away of the counter comb enormously increases economic efficiency. The shredder space is thus freely accessible for all work, minimising the maintenance and downtimes. A customers choice: Many options and a lot of equipment to adjust to different requirements regarding the end product are available to the user.

OPTION BioPower The BioPower system is used wherever higher shredding capacity is needed. Technically, the BioPower is equipped with a reinforced gear, a larger clutch and a 540 HP diesel engine with a consistent speed (generator) of 1500 rpm. Flywheels in different designs further optimise the system. The shredder shaft is equipped with 42 screwed-on teeth instead of the 21 teeth (standard). This means that more teeth will shred the material in same time, which clearly increases throughput.
