Emerging Leaders 2015-16 Calendar The Emerging Leaders Program will meet four times in the upcoming year. Participants will also be expected to participate in a series of webinars and online community events to fully recognize the benefits of the program. Participation fee of $950 includes a $200 credit applicable to the 2015 Annual Conference registration - due upon acceptance.

June 15, 2015 before Summer Conference in Fredericksburg. Make Your Mark – and Make It Count! led by Valerie Sokolosky. September 14-15, 2015 in Austin; Communicating in a Transparent World and Strategic Planning March 1, 2016; Graduation Reception in Dallas at Annual Conference

Where Are Our Future Leaders? Do you have potential leaders among your district’s finance and operations departments? Is there someone you see leading the district forward when others have retired or moved on? TASBO is looking to cultivate the next generation of leaders and has developed a program designed for Emerging Leaders in our profession. Through this Program, participants will hone their leadership skills and develop the confidence to become outstanding leaders. Encourage your future leaders to apply.
Build Leaders and Connections The inaugural Emerging Leader class is in for a treat. Leadership experts Mac McGuire and Valerie Sokolosky will offer two comprehensive workshops. Each activity will also be led by existing TASBO volunteers, who will offer their own leadership expertise and practical experience at school districts. And, this program’s team-building exercises will provide participants with life-long connections. It will be an unforgettable year.
