Entry fees: Classes 1-3 $25 for two rounds. Classes 4-9 $35 for two rounds. $10 levy for all non-pony club financial members* $20 late entry fee $3 Equestrian entries fee for all riders * Levy applies to any rider not a financial member of a NZPCA pony club branch. We will be contacting local areas for a list of their membership, so please be honest here. Without pony club members there would not be events such as these. 

        

The event will run as a derby day. The course will be a mixture of XC jumps and show jumps and each rider will be allowed around the course twice, but only the first round will count towards the final result. Classes are open to all ages. The course will be open to walk from 5 pm Saturday All riders ride at their own risk. Te Awamutu Pony club accepts no responsibility for injury, loss or damage to property, rider, spectator or animal. Dog only allowed on leash. Assistance is required to help run the event (lead rein is exempt) so please fill out the section in Equestrian entries with how you can help: eg. jump judge, pack up gear, pick up poles, etc. Approved Helmet and a body protector and armband must be worn in all classes except lead rein. Any falls must be assessed by medical assistance on the grounds. Gear check is compulsory for all classes. Entry fee must be paid in no later than one day after closing day, if fee is not paid the entry will not be submitted. Please keep yards and ground free from rubbish, use bins provided. All pens to be mucked out prior to leaving. Committee and officials reserve right to alter or change schedule and classes.

Event run under NZCPA rules. Riders must be paid members of a pony club or have read and filled out the casual membership form and declaration (available on NZCPA website). ALL RIDERS must read and sign the Health and Safety form when picking up back numbers at the office, non-compliance means elimination of rider.
