Center line
STEP 1 ■ Place paper with pattern facing up. ■ Fold top corners to center line.
STEP 2 ■ Turn the paper over. ■ Fold the top corners to the bottom edge.
STEP 3 ■ Fold the triangle section upward along the red line.
Sloping edge
STEP 4 ■ Fold the triangle tip down along the red line. ■ Rotate the paper.

B Push out STEP 5 ■ Model should look like this. ■ Turn the paper over.
STEP 6 ■ Fold down top layer along the red line. ■ Turn the paper over.
STEP 7 ■ Bring the sloping edge to the center line creasing only the upper part of the red line between A and B.
STEP 8 ■ Bring top layers (blue
arrows) to the left and push out the folded paper like opening a fan.

Fold shape under STEP 9 ■ Fold the fan shape under so a horizontal straight edge red line is made. Repeat steps 7-9 for the right side.
STEP 10 ■ Fold the model in half along the center line. The image in step 11 is what you should have.
STEP 14 ■ Fold the tip of the nose inside the body.
STEP 11 ■ Fold the wings down along the red line and adjust creases to match the profile.

STEP 12 ■ Cut section A and B pieces away from body along the blue dotted line and save ■ Cut tail pieces from section A and B and tape together
STEP 13 ■ Tape the wings in the areas marked at left. Apply additional tape to other areas as needed. ■ Tape tail between the body (see front view drawing at left)
