Registration Period: Registration begins on 2/01/2017 through 05/20/2017. Original Birth Certificate must be presented during registration. A copy will be made and notarized by Team Charlotte Organization at no cost to the parents and kept on file by Team Charlotte for future sport registrations. This will alleviate the parents from presenting an original birth certificate at every registration event of Team Charlotte. If an athlete has a notarized birth certificate on file with Team Charlotte, a birth certificate will not be needed for track registration. Registration Fees & Uniform Cost: Registration fees are $180.00 per athlete. Registration for additional athletes in a family is $150.00. Any athlete returning from last year with a uniform, $75.00 can be deducted from registration fees. Late registrations after 5/20/2017 is $200.00 per athlete. Registration fees will cover dual registration for USATF and AAU. The team track uniform is also included in the Registration fee. (1st Athlete without uniform 180.00) (1st Athlete with uniform 105.00) (2nd Athlete in a family without uniform 150.00) (2nd Athlete in a family with uniform 95.00) Additional optional items can be purchased: practice uniforms can be purchased (Cost is $30.00). There is also an optional track bag and sweat suit available for purchase. Cost of track bags are $35.00 and sweat suits are $140.00. ** No checks or money orders will be accepted. All fees are to be paid in cash. Ages for Track Season: (5 - 8) (9-10) (11-12) (13-14) (15-16) (17-18). Parent/Guardian Meeting: 3/20/2017, 6pm, at Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology (POB), track field. Track Practice: Practice begins on 3/20/2017 (6pm to 8pm). Practice will be held at Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology, 1430 Alleghany Street, Charlotte, NC 28208 Practice days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Practice during inclement weather is to be determined (TBD). Track Meets: Track meets are on Saturdays and some Sundays. Fees for Track Meets are TBD and must be paid by the parents.
