Test Engineer - Job Ref No HST230/2 Responsibilities An excellent opportunity has arisen within HeartSine Technologies Limited. The Test Engineer position will be within the HeartSine Engineering department. The role will be varied including development, documentation, preparation and qualification of test equipment, supporting installed test equipment (both in house and at HeartSine vendors) and general support of the Operations team.
Who we're looking for A technically minded proactive individual, able to work unsupervised with excellent interpersonal skills. The candidate should also be an efficient communicator able to effectively convey ideas.
Qualifications & Experience Candidates should have a minimum of a 3rd level qualification in an Electronics discipline and experience of working in a quality regulated manufacturing environment. Essential 1. A demonstrable track record of producing high quality technical documentation 2. Experience with Calibration and Preventive Maintenance activities 3. Electronics experience - ability to fault find to component level 4. Familiarity with automated test systems
Desirable Competencies 1. Familiarity of maintenance management systems 2. Good soldering skills 3. Exposure to software programming

Provide support to both the Operations and R&D facilities Investigate, repair, document and provide corrective actions to address product and test equipment failures Develop and/or support introduction of new test equipment Take an active role within QA as required Main Duties & Responsibilities 1
Test Equipment Assist with equipment calibration to ensure compliance with calibration schedule and requirements Carry out validation and qualification activities to support existing test equipment and NPI Develop, document and assemble new test equipment Investigate, repair, risk assess and provide corrective actions to address failed test equipment

Manufacturing Operations Provide technical support to internal and external manufacturing operations and undertake external visits as required Investigate failed product as required Escalate problems, document and implement solutions via CAPA or other mechanism as per procedures
