Preparation 1. Remove the excess fat off the chicken thigh fillets and lightly flatten with a mallet so the cooking time is reduced. 2. Combine the KNORR Sakims Sweet Chilli Sauce with the Soy sauce and sliced onions. Add the cleaned and flattened chicken thigh, allow to marinate. 3. Peel and slice the carrots lengthways into ribbons. Place the sugar and water into a pot and bring to the boil. Add the ribbon carrots, cook for a further 2 minutes until the carrot starts to wilt, (don’t over cook, the carrot should still be crunchy). Remove from the heat and add the vinegar. Store in a sealed container in the cool room for use. 4. Preheat a char grill and cook the marinated chicken. 5. Slice the burger bun and toast both sides, keep hot. 6. Assemble in the following order, bottom bun, HELLMANNS REAL Mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, grilled chicken, KNORR Sakims Sweet Chilli Sauce, cucumber, pickled carrot, coriander and top bun. 7. Serve with shoe string fries.
