John Hughes #42 Q: Where are you from? A: San Diego, California Q: What brought you to UMC? A: I liked the idea of a smaller campus while earning a University of Minnesota Degree Q: In the offseason, what did you try to improve for your senior season?

We are on the home stretch of the season. We have eight regular season games remaining. That means our six seniors have eight opportunities to leave their mark on this program. Our staff has appreciated the effort they have put in each and every day. Their commitment will pay off here at UMC and in their professional careers. As a coach, this is also the time of year where I hope we will be playing our best basketball. As a staff, we talk about how you play the game is just as, or more important than winning or losing. We also feel that if our players play the game how we ask, there will be more wins coming our way. I hope you will come to Lysaker Gymnasium, or watch us online and support our seniors and our team. I’m looking forward to the next four weeks and coaching this team. Thanks for your support and Go Eagles!!
