DICKSON HIGH NOON ROTARY CLUB SCHOLARSHIP

The Dickson High Noon Rotary Club Scholarship was established to assist students from Dickson County who are attending classes at the Renaissance Center. Each recipient can receive a maximum award of $500 per year. To apply, please submit your NSCC Financial Aid and Scholarship Application through your myNSCC. You must complete this application each year. We recommend that you submit your application early. Scholarships are awarded to qualified applicants on a first-come, first-awarded basis until funds are expended. Awards will be made contingent upon available funding Scholarship Criteria: Applicants must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and provide all other requested information to the NSCC Financial Aid Office. Students will be considered for this scholarship if they have an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) that is outside of the range for Pell Grant eligibility, but still have a defined need for financial aid as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Applicants must be a resident of Dickson County at the time of application. Applicants must have the Renaissance Center in Dickson County designated as their primary campus of attendance. Applicants must be pursuing an Associate Degree or eligible Technical Certificate. Recipients must not have earned a prior Bachelor’s Degree. Applicants must have completed at least one semester at NSCC with a minimum of six credit hours earned. Applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average. Applicable maintenance fee / tuition refunds will be credited to the scholarship except in cases when the student is also receiving federal Title IV benefits and totally withdraws. In such cases, the refund is credited back to the appropriate program(s) according to the NSCC “Return of Title IV Funds” Policy.
