As of September 6, 2013, we have 54 dues-paying members. In order to meet National Council’s challenge of increasing membership from last year by 10% by October 15, we need a minimum of 68 dues-paying members. We currently have over 10 different chapters represented in our membership.

The Crown Club Crown Club continues to be a success! We’ve raised over $500 towards the memorial scholarships in honor of Lynne Christianson and Polly Cummings. Send a Post Card; Invite a Friend Please take a post card and mail it to a ZTA friend who is not currently in the alumnae chapter. These post cards are for members to send to other Zeta friends to invite and encourage them to attend our next events.

Zeta Hoorays Geri Macauley is a brand new grandmother of baby girl Sibilla (“Sibi”), born on August 22. Congratulations, Geri! Sherry Heyse is the proud mom of a ZTA new member! Her daughter just pledged at Drury University’s Mu Chapter.

Collegiate Corner Remarkable Recruitment Results Alpha Psi Chapter at Mizzou welcomed 85 new members Eta Theta Chapter at Missouri S&T welcomed 27 new members Kappa Omega just finished recruitment and Theta Kappa’s recruitment is about to begin!
Alumnae and collegians will gather on Sunday, Oct 6 to hand out pink ribbons to fans prior to the start of the game. Please meet at the corner of Broadway and Convention Plaza at 10:00 AM. Please wear a Think Pink Zeta shirt if you have one. We’ll be ordering another set of shirts this year that are cobranded with the Rams. Email Morgan Koenig ([email protected]) to place your order and arrange payment.

Please let Morgan Koenig know if you are able to assist with lid collection ([email protected]). The national goal is to collect over 400,000 lids. All lids need to be picked up and delivered to Morgan by 12/5/13. Collection bins and posters are available now, and the pink lids are in the stores! If you use social media to promote the lids, please use hashtag #ztasaveslids
Kappa Omega’s Crown Classic Golf Tournament is also 9/28/13. Alumnae can support this event by signing up to play, recruiting a 4-person team, securing sponsorships and/or donating prizes. Register and learn more at www.ZTACCT.org

Spare Nothing for the Cure Let’s bowl to end breast cancer forever! Support Susan G Komen St. Louis at this family-friendly bowling event on Oct. 27. Our team is the “ZTA Strawberry Strikers”! Register at www.komenstlouis.org.
The St. Louis Alumnae Panhellenic Association is the proud recipient of both the Citation of Merit and the Programming Excellence awards for the 2011-2013 biennium. Fantastic news!
FUNDRAI$ING This year, our goal is to raise $8,600 so that we are recognized as a ZTA-F Founders Club member for the biennium. In addition to our traditional fundraisers of finals’ baskets, plant sale, and May banquet raffle, we are also planning a large fundraiser for Winter 2014. We need YOUR help to pull this off, so please consider joining the fundraising committee. Contact Michele Bunch for details ([email protected]). Memorial Scholarships Help us honor two special sisters, Lynne Kipp Christianson and Margaret “Polly” Shook Cummings, by funding two ZTAF Recognition Scholarships in their names. The chapter’s contribution commitment for each scholarship is $1,400. If you’d like to make a donation towards these scholarships, please send a check (payable to the ZTA Foundation) to Janet King.
