PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE The date, time and location for the November elections has been set for November 30, 2015 at 6:30 pm at Crossroads Community Church, 8070 SW 60th Avenue. A number of homeowners have volunteered to assist with the election, but we could use a few more volunteers. If you would like to volunteer a couple hours of your time that evening, it would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Bob Watson at 352-291-1512 to get more details. The Board has reviewed and passed the 2015-2016 Budget for the MOHOA. I would like to take this opportunity to talk about some of the accomplishments of this Board and committees. The Board corrected Amendments that had been passed previously by the majority of the homeowners of Majestic Oaks in 2010 and recorded them with Marion County. We have a new landscaper, C&S Lawn Care, who has been doing a fine job for our community. Mr. Bob Watson and Mr. Lou Bartolomeo have worked very hard to repair and straighten out our problems with the sprinkler system and correcting the electrical system on our sign walls. Thanks to both of you for your outstanding contributions to all the Majestic Oaks residents. The Covenants Compliance Committee has also done a very good job this year. 158 violations have been written and letters have been sent to homeowners. Thanks to the Committee for your diligence in Covenants enforcement. The Covenants Rewrite Committee worked hard to update the Covenants, which are now being reviewed by the Association’s Attorney. Thanks to this Committee for hosting meetings for homeowners participation and the hours spent on the rewrites. One final reminder for all residents, the Annual Garage Sale with Bent Tree will be on Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 9 am till 2 pm. If we are rained out, the new date for the garage sale will be Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 9 am till 2 pm. Herb Zabroski President, MOHOA
