Welcome back to school! The children have all settled in and seem to be adjusting well. They are enjoying making new friends and seeing their old friends again. The entire staff would like to thank you for all of the donations! We are off to a good start and looking forward to a great year! The VPK and older three year old teachers have begun STEM training. We have had one session with the representative from the Science Center, and the children really had a great time. We are looking forward to the other sessions. The office hours will be Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm. You can also reach us at 267-7308 ext.3 or my email is [email protected] God Bless, Pam Sparks Get to know the staff!! We are blessed to have such a wonderful staff! We have over a hundred years of experience here at the preschool. Miss Mollie, Miss Donna, and Miss Carol have their Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) while Miss Jennifer, Miss Kayla, and Miss Jessica S. are working on obtaining theirs. Miss Nicole, Miss Cheryl, Miss Emeline, Miss Kris, and Miss Brooke all have their required forty hour certificates. Miss Tanya, Miss Pam, Miss Gail, Miss Amber, Miss Lindsey, and Miss Sarah have their AS Degree in Early Childhood, and Miss Jessica K. is currently taking classes to receive her degree. We would like to welcome all of you to our Kids Place Family and encourage you to get involved with your children this year.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
Month of September STEM Work shops
* Make sure you have your child at school on time, which is 8:30 or 9:00 and check for the special sign ups located on sign in/sign out tables. .
October 7th Playground Work Day
* Provide all utensils that are needed for your child’s snack or lunch.
October 16th Pumpkins Arrive Candy Donation Teachers have a donation box for candy to be used for story times in the pumpkin patch! Thanks!!! October 30th VPK Make Believe Day October 31st 3’s Make Believe Day November 14th 3’s Thanksgiving Celebration November 17th VPK Thanksgiving Gathering

*Weekly tuition is submitted through tuition express on Tuesday morning, and monthly tuition is run through on the 1st of every month. If your card is declined there will be a $25.00 fee. If your account is two weeks over due your child will not be able to return until the account is paid in full. *Severe Weather Alerts: In case of severe weather conditions or in case of any type of national or local disaster, we will follow the Brevard County School System regarding openings and closings announced on your local TV or radio stations. Please remember to turn in your cell phone numbers and provider so you will be included on any emergency updates. *Everyone is welcome to join us for Chapels. The three year olds meet every other Thursday at 11:15 and VPK is on Wednesday’s at 11:00. Please check your calendars to confirm the days.
*October 16th - The PUMPKINS ARRIVE- We will be posting a sign up sheet for anyone who is available to help unload and to work shifts selling the pumpkins! This is a great fundraiser and we need each parent to sign up for two different shifts. This is a fun family event and the funds raised will provide new materials and equipment for The Kids Place! We will be collecting bags of candy for the story times at the pumpkin patch. TKP Website: The Kids’ Place is on the web!
