I would like to thank everyone who came out and shared The Kids Place weekend with us at the church service. The children did a wonderful job singing and it also gave them an opportunity to meet new friends at the children’s ministry. It is hard to believe that we only have two short months left in the school year! We are heading into our busy time, so please remember to read your newsletter and refer to the calendar to keep up with all of the important dates! As a reminder, beginning in the summer the tuition will be taken out on Mondays. Thank you to all the families that joined us for our Family Fun Night. It was a wonderful time of fellowship for all. It was amazing to see all the families that were able to attend and learn so much more about our community and the things we offer. God Bless

Important Reminders Registration: Registration is currently being held in the preschool office for summer and next fall. We have had several families already registered and we are moving up a very large class from Toddle Inn. If you have not registered and you would like to have a spot for the summer or fall please come by the office between the hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm. If you are currently enrolled in one of our programs and want to attend the summer program you must still register in the office and have a zero balance as well as up to date health records. Conferences: This is the time to sit down with your child’s teachers and discuss any concerns that you may have. The signup sheet will be located in front of each classroom as the date gets closer. There will be no phone conferences. Please make arrangements for someone to watch your children so you may focus on the conference. The VPK teachers will be handing our information for you to be able to continue to work with your children over the summer break. VPK Field Trip: April 12th we will explore like pioneers at Fort Christmas Park. We will discover family living, daily chores, the homes and forts with hands on activities. We are asking for $4 donation per chaperone and child to cover the fees required. We will also have a picnic lunch at the pavilion as we conclude our tour. Parents are responsible for transporting your child or making other arrangements. We leave the school at 9:00am Three Year Olds Field Trip: April 24th we will be going to Fox Lake Farm for a field trip. This is a working farm so please dress accordingly and be ready to get dirty!! Gloria Moye has graciously invited us to come out and enjoy the horses, goats and pigs, have a hay ride and play some games. The horses at the farm are used for special needs children in our community! We are hoping to raise $500.00 to help bless her farm and all of the children that she supports in our area. We will meet at the school at 9:00 and carpool to the farm. At 11:30 we will go to Fox Lake Park for a picnic lunch. The parents are responsible for transporting your child or making other arrangements. Muffins for Moms: Mark this special day on your calendar! The VPK classes will begin in the sanctuary at 9:00am on May 9th for chapel and then to the classrooms for a special treat! All three year olds will meet in your children’s classrooms on May 10th at 9:00am for a special song, story and special treat!! You are welcome to stay as long as you would like.

End of Year Program: Children in VPK will have a special program at 7:00pm in Wesley Fellowship Hall on Tuesday, May 15th. Our theme this year will be Future American Heroes.
