SIS Gets New Play Ground Equipment By: Renee P Thank you to all parents and students who raised money for the cookie dough fundraiser we had in the fall. SIS had enough money to get some new playground equipment. SIS just had a new installment of a Kompan Rock Wall. On Spring Break they will install a Kompan Starsurfer and a Kompan Rock-It.

Winner of SIS Snow Contest Announced By: Haley M. We had many great estimates of about how much snow we would get in the month February. The total snow fall at the Sheridan Airport was 5 inches. The winner of the 2016 SIS snow contest is Lucy Cupples. She guessed exactly 5 inches. Many students had very close guesses such as

Alexis S. in 6th grade with an estimate of 4.5 inches, along with Sawyer T. in 4th grade who had a estimate of 4.6 inches. Thank you to all who participated in the contest. Lucy can come see Mrs. Dunn to collect her $20.00 Wal-Mart gift card.

Spring Break By: Wesleigh D.

It's almost that time, Spring break is almost here! Spring Break will be March 21-25. Alyssa A. said, “We always go to Colorado and ski, and this spring we are going again”. Jazmine F. said, “I go to my cousins house in Siloam Springs and go

to the Tulsa Zoo or Aquarium. Sometimes we go to Memphis or New Orleans.” There are many local options for students too. Many students enjoy going to the Delta Rivers Nature Center in Pine Bluff and going to the Little

Rock Zoo. Also, the Hot Springs Mountain Tower offers great views of the city and the Fordyce Bath House in Hot Springs is free to tour. We hope everyone has fun over Spring Break, and comes back to school ready to learn!
