Our staff at the Westminster Catering Center is here assist you on your day and help relieve your stress. For those questions and concerns we hear most often we have created a list of “frequently asked questions” accompanied by answers. We hope that this helps you plan your wedding, but if you need any further assistance, please know that we are here help. How many people can you accommodate? Our Grand Ball room can accommodate up to 200 seated with a dance floor for your reception. We have an outdoor ceremony location that can seat up to 200 and an indoor ceremony location that can seat up to 200. Is there a room charge? No. Our packages include a 4 hour reception time. Should you wish to extend your time you may do so. A room fee will apply and depending on the bar package an additional bar fee may apply. How many hours is a Westminster Catering Center reception? You and your guests can enjoy your four hours in our ballroom unless you have extended your time with us. DJ’s, Bands, and florists have the option of arriving one hour prior to the reception start time to set up. All equipment is to be removed from the room immediately after the reception. What size tables do you provide? We have 66 inch round tables that can seat up to 10 people comfortably. Where can we take pictures? We have many places that your photographers can take pictures. We have a beautiful outdoor pool and Gazebo along with beautiful green hills surrounding the hotel and catering center. In addition to our outdoor options we have a wonderful fire place surrounded by bay windows overlooking the pool and Gazebo where the perfect wedding picture can be taken. Who does the catering? We have an amazing chef that works specifically for our catering center and hotel. After meeting with one of our wedding coordinators to plan your special day we will provide you with the opportunity to set up a taste testing with the chef. What is the alcohol policy? Westminster Catering Center must provide all alcohol. We do not allow outside alcoholic beverages in the catering center.

YÜxÖâxÇàÄç Tá~xw dâxáà|ÉÇá What deposit is necessary? We require a $1,000.00 deposit upon receiving the signed contract. Three months prior to your reception date 15% of the remaining balance is to be collected. The final payment is due 5 days prior the reception date. Do you have a minimum food and beverage requirement? Yes, the minimum food and beverage spend depends on the day of the week, time of year, time of reception. Please speak with a wedding coordinator for details. Should I hire a wedding coordinator? The Westminster Catering Center provides you with your very own wedding coordinator to walk you through step by step on your special day. From all your catering needs to decorations we are here to help you. If you would like to have a wedding coordinator to assist you with other aspects of your special day, we invite you to do so. Is there an extra cost to have my ceremony at the Westminster Catering Center? We have the option to have both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. The cost of either ceremony would be $300.00. An additional fee for an outdoor ceremony will apply if additional chairs are needed. If I decide to have an outdoor ceremony, what do I do if it rains? Don’t worry. We will be prepared with a location indoors. It is the decision of the Westminster Catering Center to ultimately decide if the reception will be held indoors or outdoors. This decision will be based upon weather conditions, forecasts, and the safety of your guests. Do you provide linens, china, cutlery, glasses, etc.? Our wedding packages include your choice of white or ivory table linens. You also have the option of one or two napkin colors which are all complimentary. As well as the linens we have centerpieces for you to select rom. We have many different options for linens if you would like to enhance your table setting. Ask our sales team for additional information. Where can I have my rehearsal? Our wedding coordinators will schedule a time for you to have your rehearsal. The one hour complimentary rehearsal time will be scheduled upon availability. Is the gratuity or service charge extra? There will be a 20% service charge added to all food and beverage. A 6% sales tax will then be added. With liquor a 20% service charge will be added followed by a 9% Liquor tax.

YÜxÖâxÇàÄç Tá~xw dâxáà|ÉÇá Do we have to use your Wedding Cake Vendor? No, you do have the option of providing your own wedding cake. For your convenience we encourage you to use our bakery, Cakes by Susie. She will be happy to provide you with samples prior to your wedding day. Do you provide vendors such as Photographers and Entertainment? We would be happy to provide you with a list of vendors we recommend. You are not required to use these vendors however we feel confident recommending them. How much is parking? There is no fee for parking. All parking including bridal party and guests are complimentary. Do you have a different price for children? Yes, the price for children will depend on the wedding package you select. We would also be more than happy to offer your guests 12 and under chicken tenders, French fries, applesauce and assorted soda for $14.95. Do you charge a cake cutting fee? There is no cake cutting fee, this is complimentary. Is there a bartender fee? The bar tender fee is $100.00 for the 4 hour reception time. If additional time is added an additional fee will be added. Can we reserve a block of rooms for our guests? Yes, the amount of rooms you may book depends on the availability in the hotel. We will set aside the amount of rooms available/requested. Your guests have 30 days prior to the event to call and make their reservations. After the 30 days the rooms and rates are no longer guaranteed. Is there a complimentary room for the newlyweds the night of the wedding? A complimentary Whirlpool Suite is provided for the Bride & Groom
